Froyo Goodness for my Desire is Here!!

Last Night I got my Froyo update for my HTC Desire. Knowing how stuff works in the world, anything that gets released in the States yesterday, we'll only get to see it next year, if we're lucky. HOWEVER, I got my Froyo updates from over the air 2 months after HTC released the Froyo update.

(Ok for those non-techno geeks out there, Froyo is the latest version of Android OS for mobile phones, ver 2.2.)

Why is this update important? it makes your Android mobile device seem like an awesome phone and make you fall in love with it all over again. I sure did.

Why don't I just get an iPhone 4?
1. 85% of my office colleagues have an iPhone 4.
2. My HTC Desire is now a mobile wi-fi hotspot device.

Now why would I sign up with a mobile broadband plan or iPad plan if I can just turn my phone into a mobile hotspot? IPhone 4 Users, eat your heart out.

Now I personally think that the iPhone is an awesome product, maybe even better than an Android device, but sometimes they're just a little behind the curve. Just sometimes.

PS doesn't it makes sense to just get that Wifi iPad instead of the 3G+WiFi version now?
