Endangered Species

Today I wish to highlight the plight of a species of organism that exists only in my home. In most other habitats, this species savagely hunted down and consumed by ravenous predators, wiping out their existences within the hour.

In my home however they are under my constant protection in the hopes that they and their offspring will survive another generation. These species are called the cornflakus chocolatus chyp meringues. Let take a close up:

Their pure white complexion makes them extremely susceptible to weak-minded gluttonous buffoons who are able polish off whole tribes of meringues at one sitting. Here is what they look like inside:

Oooops!!!

Currently there are four them left in my home where I am keeping them safe in this habitat:

They are under constant attacks by the younger members of my family whom I have to pry away from the habitat at least five times today. Let us hope these four will survive the week.

UPDATE

When I woke this morning, I was aghast when I saw this:

Which monster could have savagely consumed them during the late hours of the night? How they could they have sneaked past me? Fortunately, they just have been moved a slightly more cosy enclosure: Your prayers have been effective.
