Recently one of my colleague's sent out a mass email about how "dooced" is now an official word on urbandictionary.com. It means to lose one’s job because of one’s website.
Oookkkaaaaaaayyyyyy......Now why did he bring THAT up...... My favourite blog no less.
I'm not sure what exactly is my employers' policy towards blogging. I'm not even sure how many of us down there are bloggers. I guess if there's more than just us two people, we must all be doing it in secret. Or we're just chronically shy. I told my boss about mine cause if anything happens he's gonna get the flak first. And I never write about work. Well, ALMOST NEVER.
I think they're still working on the policies. Anyway, there's some relatively good corporate blogging policies out there like Groove Networks & Sun Microsystems which I will try to adopt shortly.
Thank God nobody reads my nonsense and links me. Well almost nobody.
