How Typical of Children

Two kids & their parents were walking aimlessly around a Pasar Malam in Yew Tee. I overheard this conversation which was originally in Malay: "That roast chicken looks really delicious" "No, dear. We have dinner ready at home." "Smells really good too." "There's still soup for you in the kitchen later." "Can I get just one pleeeease????" "I cooked chicken!! No need lah! Another time, ok, baby?" "One chicken won't hurt! Just one what! Pleeeeeeasse???" "Tomorrow lah. Pasar malam will still be here then." That's the last I heard of the conversation because the husband started pouting and stomped ahead of his wife & kids.
