Gahmen & My Direction

Today was my NE course. It was attended by "Gahmen" people. It was run by "Gahmen" people. It invited "Gahmen" people to speak. Just as interesting the actual content of the talk was the different faces of the "Gahmen" that we got to see. It was stereotypical yet hardly a caricature. I got to see the Defense people, The Internal Security people, The State Department people, The Economics people and of course the "Stretch Target" people. Scholars, Pen-pushers, Analysts, Diplomats, Soldiers and Academics. Each with their own strengths and idiosyncrasies. But came across clearly was (especially the last speaker) they knew they shit, and they KNEW HWERE THEY WERE GOING.

In the past few days, the question "What exactly am I doing? Why?" Yet the most difficult question to answer is: "What do I WANT to do?". I've been reading a book that highlights the importance of having employees jump out of bed every morning, raring to do their job. Such Passion!! I'm slightly unhappy but not sure what is it that's bugging me about my job.

Then late this night, I watched "Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium" Lately, I've been an emotional creature and this movie affected me more than it usually should. Self-Belief. So critical as well. There's a part about rising tho the occasion that is life but that needs a whole separate post.

So many thoughts...

...and Natalie is still so cute...
