I came back late today but just in time to catch Four Feathers, a movie which i wanted to catch for so long but couldn't find a stretch of time long enough to watch through the whole thing. Let's just say that I enjoyed it.
I'm a great fan of Bollywood melodrama and this story is really a well-woven Hindi Film plot executed in a very British setting and wonderfully exotic locales. Those who can't stomach melodrama should stay away. It's about a guy and his good friends who enrolls in a military institution only to be sent to war shortly before his wedding. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say it has very slight overtones of the Hindi film classic "Sangam".
My sis tells me it has an Indian Director. Now all that melodrama makes sense.
