Yes, yes, on long hiatus. Nothing really extraordinary happened in the last few months. I had to go for reservist for three weeks at the end of August. Everyone there was younger and healthier and so full youthful exuberance. Since then not much. I'm lost my way a little bit but I'm slowly trying to find my way back.
I met almost everyone in the last few months. Last I heard Alvin, Eugene, Mazlin & Zai are doing alright still doing their thing. Khair and Fairus are still hard at it with their jobs. In the past 1 week I met up with quite a few of my JC class. Some of them I haven't seen for god knows how many years. Sandy is doing just fine at HDB. And why not with all those pool tables and arcade rooms and squash courts they have for their employees, sheesh! so welfare, I'm jealous! Neet is recovering from kidney stones otherwise she's alright(today's the last day of her MC, poor girl). So is Sharnaz(I mean she's alright not MC or anything) Peter is still working his ass off at Harry Elias. Shao Feng is at HSBC Marketing Division now. He's working at the building next to Plaza Singapura. JJ is at Alexandra Hospital now doing ortho I think, not sure. Jerry Goh who I have not seen for close to 5 years is now serving out the remainder of his sentence (NS) at MMI at NUH. He still looks the same. And so does Alka who I have not seen since my NS days (6 or 7 years ago). She still looks good. Currently at Ministry of Health (or "The Ministry" as she calls it) for at least another month. She'll be off to the States to study Public Health in January (at NYU I think, again not sure). I heard through some of them that Fareeza is doing fine at IPOS, still studying for that law degree and Yin Ping is coming back to Singapore in about two months time to work.
Weekend soccer is now on indefinite hiatus with the coming of Ramadan. I'm starting to get really lazy to call people anyway since everyone has either work, family or "kenduri" commitments. However on the plus side, I'll probably get to see the gang again at the next "iftar" and house-visiting after Aidilfitri.
That's it till my next update. Don't hold your breath.
